London Fashion Week gets musical Ramona are a pop-punk band from Brighton, have a cute blonde lead singer called Karen Anne, and have just come back from New York where they played a gig for the Burberry store opening. Ramona's performance this morning, on LFW's opening day, is just one of many by a crew of hot, young indie, pop and punk bands, who will be appearing on Tom's Terrace, sponsored by Lavazza, behind Somerset House, on the edge of the river Thames, during this London Fashion Week season. Other names set to appear include Talay Riley, Labrinth, Alexander Vargas Blay, Dan Lywood Ben Bridgewater, Edei, and numerous DJ sets. The first collaboration will be curated by Christopher Bailey, of Burberry, and will feature all-British musicians, including Elton John, David Bowie, The Pogues, and emerging bands such as Ramona, Patch William, Life in Film, and Good Shoes. The album, packaged with a book of Burberry photographs, is available from iTunes (UK) and fashion boutiques including Browns, Cruise, Matches and START.
